As World Stroke Day approaches on Sunday 29th October 2023, we’re thrilled to introduce our “Life Redefined” campaign, spotlighting the remarkable journeys of younger stroke survivors and their families. This campaign seeks to showcase how stroke has reshaped your life—whether you’d like to share the challenges and heartaches, the insights you’ve gained, or a bit of both. We want to shine a light on your personal experiences and viewpoints.
What is the #LifeRedefined Campaign?
The #LifeRedefined campaign aims to emphasise that strokes can affect anyone, regardless of age, and to increase public understanding of what it means to have a stroke.
How Can You Get Involved?
We invite each and every member of our incredible community to fly the flag for stroke awareness and get involved. Here are some ways you can get involved:
Share Your Story
If you or a loved one has been impacted by a stroke, sharing your personal journey can inspire others and highlight the importance of stroke awareness.
Use your creativity to spread the message of #LifeRedefined on social media platforms this Sunday. Whether it’s through videos, posts, or graphics, your content can help educate and engage a wider audience. We want to flood social media using the hashtag #LifeRedefined
Reach Fellow Stroke Survivors
As a small charity with limited resources, we often hear that younger stroke survivors wish they had known about our community sooner. This World Stroke Day, we are reaching out to our members and supporters to help us connect with more stroke survivors.
You can click the button below and commit to taking leaflets about Different Strokes to your local stroke ward or GP to raise awareness and find others like you! Our small team will be sending out these leaflets to those who sign up throughout November.
Donate
Your generous donations play a crucial role in supporting our efforts to raise awareness and to continue supporting survivors and their families. Every contribution helps us to redefine lives and make a positive impact.
Let's Stand Together!
By participating in the #LifeRedefined campaign, you’re not just contributing to a cause—you’re helping to reclaim lives.
Thank you for being a vital part of our community and for your dedication to making a difference.
