About Different Strokes:
Different Strokes is the only UK-wide charity dedicated to helping stroke survivors under 65, and their families. Stroke can affect anyone at any age, and its impact on younger people is often overlooked.
We provide:
Peer support and social groups
Information and guidance for families and carers
Activities and programmes to rebuild confidence and independence
Thanks to RTBI members supporting us as Charity of the Year, we can continue providing these life-changing services to younger stroke survivors.

Younger stroke is becoming increasingly common, yet awareness is low and support is limited. Through our partnership with RTBI, Different Strokes is working to change that.
Together, we aim to shine a spotlight on the stories of younger stroke survivors, raising national awareness that stroke can happen to anyone, at any age. Through the unifying theme ‘Champion Your Story,’ RTBI clubs across the country will:
Raise vital funds to provide support, guidance and social connection for stroke survivors under 65
Amplify survivor voices, helping people share their experiences and inspire change
Create meaningful community impact, building stronger, more informed and supportive local networks
