This year’s World Stroke Day theme is all about community — because recovery isn’t something you do alone. It’s made possible by connection, understanding, and shared experience.
As a small charity with limited resources, we often hear that younger stroke survivors wish they had known about our community sooner. This World Stroke Day, we are reaching out to our members and supporters to help us connect with more stroke survivors.
To help you do that, we’re offering free packs of leaflets (in bundles of 10) that you can order now. Each pack includes:
Our general Different Strokes flyer
Information on joining a local DS support group
Details about our befriender service for stroke survivors under 25
Information for Black and South Asian communities
Bursary Fund flyer
These packs are ideal for taking to GPs, hospitals, community spaces, events, and local awareness activities.
Our small team will be sending out these leaflets throughout October and November.
