We understand that returning to work after a stroke can be a daunting prospect. Many stroke survivors face unique challenges when trying to reintegrate into the workplace. Our webinar aims to provide practical advice and information on the Access to Work scheme – a government programme designed to help people with disabilities or health conditions, including stroke survivors, get back to work or stay in work.
During this webinar, you will learn how the Access to Work scheme can provide tailored support based on your specific needs. This could include assistance with transport, specialised equipment, or personal support in the workplace. Our goal is to help you understand how to access these resources and make your return to work as smooth as possible.

Joining Joanna will be Tayler Laycy, a stroke survivor who will share her personal story of returning to work after a stroke. Tayler experienced her stroke at the young age of 23, just three months after the birth of her second child. She will discuss the challenges she faced, how she navigated her way back to work, and the role the Access to Work scheme played in her recovery.
This webinar is ideal for stroke survivors who are ready to return to work and are looking for guidance and support. You will hear directly from experts and fellow stroke survivors who have successfully made the transition back to employment. There will also be a live Q&A session where you can ask questions and receive personalised advice.
