In 2023 we are hosting a series of webinars for the stroke community.
In this webinar which took place on 28th April 2023, we were joined by Katie Mahoney who is the Lead Physiotherapist at Odstock Medical Ltd (OML), who specialises in FES treatment for people with neurological conditions.
Based in Salisbury, but with outreach centres around the UK, OML assesses people to see if FES can work for them, provide them with their own FES device, and teach them how to use it. They also provide long-term support to users for as long as they are using FES.
In this talk, Katie explains what FES is and how it can help stroke survivors. She also answers audience questions and covers how people can find out more information or be referred for an assessment.
