On Wednesday 28th June we held a webinar on falls prevention, with Fran Hallam-Bowles and Dr. Fran Allen from the University of Nottingham. This session looked at what can be best done to prevent falls, the most important things to be aware of and was followed by a Q&A.
Fran Hallam-Bowles is a Clinical Researcher at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and a PhD student at the University of Nottingham. She is a physiotherapist with experience of working in community falls prevention services, and her research explores falls prevention in care homes.
Fran Allen is a physiotherapist and researcher at the University of Nottingham. Previously she has worked in community falls prevention and acute, post-stroke rehabilitation. Her current research looks at falls prevention in care homes and hospices.
