Sheelagh meets Andrew – Stroke at 33, living with aphasia

This week Sheelagh from the DS team met with fellow stroke survivor, Andrew. In this video he shares his experience of having a stroke while his wife was pregnant and his recovery and having to overcome difficulties with his speech.
He reminds us to never give up and to take each day as it comes and how he is slowly regaining confidence thanks to hearing from those with similar experiences in our DS family.
