We are looking to recruit volunteers for taking part in research in partnership with Cogitat and Unit9.
Cogitat and Unit9 are currently developing CogiGames – a tele-rehabilitation platform for stroke survivors to use in their own home, to be used in-between visits to physiotherapists, and to help individuals to restore limb movement more quickly and effectively. This is done through using Virtual Reality and EEG (electroencephalogram) technologies.
As a starting point we are looking to recruit stroke survivors who would be happy to undertake EEG readings. This is a test that measures electrical activity in the brain using small, metal discs (electrodes) attached to the scalp.
The test would take place at Imperial College London, South Kensington campus, and take about an hour.
