Proud recipients of multi-year grant from the Garfield Weston Foundation

We are delighted to have received a multi-year grant from the Garfield Weston Foundation worth £25,000 per year for the next three years. The funds will be used to support the ongoing delivery of our work, as we aim to increase the scope and profile of our activities, ensuring that we can support stroke survivors more effectively, while further raising awareness that stroke happens to people of all ages.

Established in 1958, the Garfield Weston Foundation is a family-founded charitable grant-making trust which now gives away approximately £80 million a year to charities across the UK.

We have ambitious plans over the next three years to expand our services to support more younger stroke survivors, to enhance our work with Black and Asian communities, develop a nationwide network of ambassadors, and raise much greater awareness of younger stroke with the general public. It’s fantastic to have the value of our work recognised by the Garfield Weston Foundation, and we are especially thrilled that they will be supporting us for three years, which will help us to plan and develop our long-term goals.”
