We are delighted that from Thursday 7th May, our trustee Satinder Sanghera will be hosting weekly sessions on Facebook Live, on how to look after your health & wellbeing while self-isolating.

Satinder became a medical doctor despite suffering a dense stroke at age 20, and with disability went on to have an extensive career in General Practice, Clinical Commissioning. She is currently re-entering general practice after five years of being ill health retired. Satinder will use the latest scientific evidence to provide easy practical advice on how to improve your health and wellbeing.
During the first session Satinder will describe her own journey of stroke over thirty four years. During this time Satinder has enjoyed multiple physical pursuits, travelled extensively, raised two sons, had a long career in medicine, created a smallholding, landscaped extensive grounds from which she runs garden therapy for adults with physical disability and become a Trustee for Different Strokes. In recent years Satinder has experienced further serious medical conditions and admits some of these were not helped by her lifestyle, which is why she wishes to share her own experience and medical knowledge to help you.
