Find out more about our Stroke Exercise and Support Group in Carlisle
Our Stroke Exercise and Support Group is a place where working age and younger stroke survivors can go and meet other people affected by stroke and take part in group exercise sessions.
The group is run by Volunteer Coordinator Paul Kendall, a fellow stroke survivor, and you can read his survivor story HERE.
Paul is supported with the running of the group by Pamela Irving.
Group member Pamela Irving won our Volunteer of the Year Peer Support Champion Award 2023. Read about Pamela and her award HERE.
Meeting Times
Meetings are held on a monthly basis on the third Wednesday of every month at 1.00 pm.
Exercise 1.00pm to 2.00 pmSocial session 2.00 pm where partners, carers and stroke survivors are welcome.
