Like many charities, Different Strokes will be taking part in the 2.6 challenge on 26th April. A number of our staff will be taking part including our CEO whose page you can see HERE, Greg who runs the DS Facebook support group whose page you can see HERE, our Family Support Officer Genise HERE and our wonderful administrator Sheelagh HERE.
We’d love for you to get involved too and join us in team DS for this challenge!
It’s not only about running around your garden for 2.6 miles or doing other exercise. Could you make 26 pancakes? Juggle for 26 minutes? Pull 26 dance moves? It could be anything that you’re able to do from your home, that involves 26 or 2.6.
To get involved and join DS please go to the following link: https://www.justgiving.com/team/DifferentStrokes?invite=true
Please then click ‘accept’ and follow the relevant instructions to get a specific page set up for yourself.
Once this is done, we can then send you some suggestions for personalising your page.
Note that our team fundraising target is £5,000, so please set an individual amount for yourself that you feel you may be able to raise.
Finally, and most importantly, please then promote as widely and extensively as you can around all your friends, family and contacts… and don’t forget to get in any practice that you may need for your challenge on the 26th!
