The Christmas Countdown is on!
We extend our sincere gratitude and warm wishes on behalf of the entire team at Different Strokes to everyone who utilized or supported our services in 2023. It has been a year filled with challenges and accomplishments. We hope that amidst the busyness, you found solace in the knowledge that you are not alone, whether your stroke occurred ten days or ten years ago.
We take immense pride in this resilient community and the continual triumphs over obstacles. Regardless of the meaning this season holds for you, we encourage you to take a moment to reflect on your daily victories, no matter the challenges you face.
Online Shop
We want to inform you that our online shop is now closed for the season. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee Christmas delivery, so we closed the shop earlier this year. All orders placed before midnight on Monday, December 11th, 2023, will be dispatched on December 12th, 2023. The shop will reopen in early January 2024.
Sending an eCard in place of cards
Sending an eCard Instead of Christmas Cards Consider making a donation to Different Strokes instead of sending traditional Christmas cards this year. You can contribute by clicking HERE. Share our eCard to let everyone know you’re on the nice list this year.
To save the eCard on a desktop, right-click and select save image. On mobile, long-press the image, choose download image, and then embed it in an email to share with family and friends.
You can also use our online form for donations. Your generosity will enable us to continue supporting younger stroke survivors and their families in 2024 and beyond.

Helpline & Services
To allow our team a well-deserved break, our offices will be closed from Friday, December 22nd, 2023, and will reopen on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024.
In case of urgent medical issues, please contact the NHS at 111 or 999.
For emotional support, you can reach out to the Samaritans at 116 123.
Online Group
Our online group will continue to operate during the Christmas holidays, with staff periodically checking in for any urgent issues. If you come across a post that concerns you, more information is available by clicking HERE
