Help shape stroke prevention: take our 3-minute survey
Different Strokes is working with Dr. Indira Natarajan, Consultant Physician in Stroke at Royal Stoke University Hospital and Clinical Director for Stroke at the West Midlands Integrated Stroke Delivery Network, alongside Medtronic, to better understand secondary stroke prevention.
We are asking stroke survivors to take part in a short survey about what information and advice they have received since their stroke. Your responses could help improve patient education and support.
The survey takes just three minutes to complete.
What the survey covers:
We want to know whether a healthcare professional has discussed the following with you since your stroke:
- Lifestyle and diet
- Smoking and alcohol
- Blood sugar (HbA1c)
- Atrial fibrillation
- Physical activity
- Blood pressure targets
- Cholesterol (LDL)
Who can take part?
This survey is for stroke survivors only.
A separate survey for healthcare professionals will be shared in the future.
Why your experience matters:
By sharing your experience, you could help identify gaps in information and support. This could guide improvements in how stroke prevention advice is delivered to patients in the future.
