Different Strokes is delighted to have been awarded a grant of £3,000 from the Sovereign Health Care board, to go towards our regional development work in Yorkshire. This is an area that we have focused on for the past four years and will help to support our regional co-ordinator, Geoff Render, in his role of promoting our services, raising the profile of younger stroke and developing links with key partners in the local area.
Geoff is a younger stroke survivor himself, you can read his story HERE
“Sovereign Health Care board have been a great supporter of Different Strokes for a number of years, and it’s fantastic to have the value of our work recognised by them once more. This grant will help with our much needed awareness and outreach activities in the Yorkshire area, and we’re really grateful to them for their support.”
