We’re absolutely thrilled to share the wonderful news that Different Strokes has been awarded a generous grant of £2,500 to bolster our regional efforts in West Yorkshire. Thank you to Sovereign Health Care for their unwavering support over the years – we’re deeply grateful for their continued backing.
These funds will play a critical role in facilitating peer support initiatives among stroke survivors within the local community. Additionally, they will provide vital resources to support our Regional Coordinator, Geoff Render, in his advocacy efforts to raise awareness of younger stroke and enhance the visibility of our organisation.
Austin Willett, CEO of Different Strokes, expressed his gratitude, stating, “We are delighted to receive the support of Sovereign Health Care . Our work locally in Yorkshire has been a mainstay of the charity for many years, and we are honoured to have the significance of this work recognised by a respected local company. We look forward to making a meaningful impact on the lives of stroke survivors in the West Yorkshire area in the foreseeable future.”
