We have been providing peer support for younger stroke survivors and their families since 1996.

Different Strokes was established and is overseen by younger stroke survivors and so it is important to us that we are truly user-led.

Every year we survey our beneficiaries to find out what helped, what didn’t and what they need going forward. This unique insight helps us to form our strategy ensuring we deliver information and services that are both relevant and from the heart. 

We also use social return on investment methodology to see the wider impact of reclaiming lives after stroke.
