On September 15th 2018 our brave team of abseilers will take on the challenge of a lifetime, all in aid of raising money for Different Strokes.

The abseil which takes place at the acceleor orbit in London which is the tallest sculpture in the UK is our second this year. You can watch a video of our abseil in April HERE.

Megan Giglia MBE
Paralympic Gold Medalist and Stroke Survivor 

Just three years after suffering an acute brain haemorrhage/stroke aged 27, Megan Giglia capped her instant and impressive arrival on the world para-cycling scene by earning selection to the Great Britain team for the Rio Paralympics where she won a gold medal in the individual pursuit.

A former multi-sport coach before she suffered paralysis to the right-side of her body in January 2013, as a result of a stroke, Giglia was a double gold medallist at the UCI Para-cycling Track World Championships in 2016.

Alex Murphy
Dancing on Ice Pro Ice Skater and Stroke Survivor

Alex Murphy is a pro ice skater, who has appeared on Dancing On Ice in the UK and in the Netherlands. Alex had a stroke 5 years ago whilst performing on a cruise ship aged just 24.
