Host your own Mince Pie Monday on Monday 15th December 2025
for a day of festive fun and fundraising!
Mince Pie Monday is your chance to slow down, get together with the people who make you smile, and enjoy a little Christmas cheer – all while supporting younger stroke survivors across the UK.
Whether you’re hosting a cosy afternoon with friends, a festive coffee break at work, or even a virtual get-together, your event will help raise awareness and funds for a cause that changes lives.
If you are signing up on behalf of your colleagues for an office gathering, we have some additional ideas to bring an extra bit of fun!
Ask colleagues to volunteer to be pied – Then everyone pays to enter as many nominations as they wish for the person they would like to see pied at the office.
Sponsor someone to wear a Santa suit for the day, sponsor more if you send them out for the coffees!
So go on, put the kettle on, warm up the mulled wine, and get those mince pies in the oven! Or, if you fancy doing things a little differently this year, why not swap the pies for cupcakes, Christmas cookies, or even a festive fruit punch? There are no rules; it’s your celebration, your way!
Here’s how to join in:
- Pick your spot. Hold your event wherever suits you best: at home, in the office, your community centre, or even online.
- Register your event. Fill in the quick form below to sign up, and we’ll send you a free fundraising pack packed with everything you need — posters, games, balloons and a few festive ideas to make your gathering extra fun.
- Raise what you can. Ask your guests to make a small donation in exchange for a slice of pie (or cake!), a cuppa, and some good company. Every contribution makes a difference.
Why Your Support Matters
In the UK, 1 in 4 strokes happen to people under 65, but too often, stroke is seen as an older person’s condition. That’s where Different Strokes comes in.
We’re the only UK charity dedicated to supporting younger stroke survivors and their families through tailored peer support, exercise sessions, resources for children, and one-to-one befriending services.
By taking part in Mince Pie Monday, you’ll be helping to fund these vital services, from connecting survivors who feel isolated, to supporting parents and children adjusting after stroke.
Your generosity will help more people find understanding, hope, and the tools they need to rebuild their lives.
Every mince pie, every cuppa, every donation counts.
It’s not just a fundraiser — it’s a reminder of what community really means. This Christmas, let’s come together to share stories, laughter, and kindness while raising funds that make a real impact.
Don’t forget to share your photos and festive fun using #MincePieMonday — we’d love to see your creations and celebrations!
So dust off your aprons, send out those invites, and join us this December to make Mince Pie Monday 2025 the warmest and most wonderful yet.
Together, we can make sure no younger stroke survivor has to face recovery alone.
