Date: Thursday, 27th June 2024

Time: 11:30 AM BST

About the Session:

Are you an unpaid carer looking after someone close to you who has had a stroke? Many unpaid carers find themselves thrust into a caring role with little warning, feeling completely overwhelmed by the heavy responsibilities they shoulder. It can be very tiring to look after your husband, wife, partner, parent, sibling, or child for hours every day, often while trying to hold down a job or raise children. Many unpaid carers feel they are on their own.

To provide much-needed support and information, we are hosting a webinar titled “Caring Together: Support Strategies for Unpaid Carers.” This session will help unpaid carers manage their responsibilities and discover where to go for additional support.

The webinar will be presented by Caring Together, a charity that supports carers of all ages in the East of England. Caring Together is a network partner of the Carers Trust, which also covers Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Many of their staff are or have been carers themselves, so they understand the importance of providing sensitive and tailored support to meet individual needs.

Join us to gain valuable insights and practical advice on how to navigate the challenges of being an unpaid carer.
