Different Strokes is currently recruiting volunteer community fundraisers. The role of a community fundraiser is to seek opportunities in your local area to raise funds for Different Strokes. These opportunities could include holding bake sales, asking your local school to have a dress down day, asking your local pub to run a quiz night, attending craft/gift fairs and selling items made or donated and any other interesting and ingenious ways to raise funds. Our team of wonderful volunteers would be contributing to the running of our core services. Perhaps you could raise enough in a year to seed fund a new support group (£350) or to provide two information packs a month, for a whole year (£120).  Every contribution will be supporting younger stroke survivors to reclaim their lives.
