There are over seven million carers in the UK. That means that 1 in 10 of us are currently responsible for the care of a loved one. Caring for a family member or friend following a stroke is challenging at the best of times but caring in a pandemic brings many layers of added complexity.

Since the pandemic, families report getting less support from healthcare professionals, some have added childcare responsibilities or financial worries and have been less able to rely on wider support networks. We recognise that this has left many carers in the stroke community feeling stressed out and isolated.

We are delighted to be partnering with Caring Together on a talk which will cover

Caring Together support family carers of all ages across Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and Norfolk. They offer flexible, professional homecare services to adults and children with a range of disabilities and health conditions.
