Thank you to Bobby Garland who ran the London Marathon raising over £2,000 for Different Strokes. Bobby ran with his wife Claire who was raising money for her chosen charity the National Autistic Society. Bobby was inspired to raise money for Different Strokes after losing his Dad Stuart in 2017. Stuart had a stroke 12 years prior so it is a cause close to Bobby’s heart.
Here are a few pictures of Bobby and Claire on the day:
We think they are both amazing and the money they have raised will allow us to continue offering support for younger stroke survivors and their families when they need it the most.
