NHS England is consulting on a specification for a thrombectomy service for acute ischaemic stroke.

This service specification has been developed with the support and input of lead clinicians and tested with a range of stakeholders. This approach has helped ensure that the views of key stakeholders have informed and influenced the development of the service specification to date.
