Join us for an unforgettable endurance weekend as Round Table Great Britain & Ireland comes together for the President’s Challenge, supporting Different Strokes.
Led by National President Sheraz Shahid, members from across the country will take on the iconic Ultra Challenge Peak District on 4–5 July 2026 — raising vital funds and awareness for younger stroke survivors.
The Challenge
Set in the stunning Derbyshire countryside, the Ultra Challenge Peak District is a fully supported endurance event based in Bakewell, featuring a spectacular figure-of-eight route through the Peak District National Park.
You’ll be supported every step of the way with regular rest stops, hot food, medical cover, clear route signage, GPS tracking and a finish-line celebration you won’t forget.
Choose your distance:
- 25km – A strong one-day challenge
- 50km – Push yourself further across the Peaks
- 100km – The full endurance experience
Walk, jog or run — it’s about taking part and pushing your personal limits.
Your entry is covered
For this special President’s Challenge, Different Strokes is covering the cost of entry for all Round Table participants.
In return, each participant is asked to raise a minimum of £500 for Different Strokes, helping us continue to support younger stroke survivors and their families across the UK.
Every pound raised helps provide:
- Peer support and community connection
- Practical advice for life after stroke
- Rehabilitation and recovery resources
- A lifeline for younger adults rebuilding their lives after stroke
Why it matters
Stroke can happen at any age.
This challenge is about more than distance — it’s about visibility, awareness, and showing younger stroke survivors they are not alone.
This is Sheraz’s personal challenge year, and Round Table is helping to shine a spotlight on a cause that is often overlooked in younger adults.
