Richard Lane from Studio Combat Academy & Martial Arts Club and Ian Harrison Dragon Freestyle in Nottingham held a self-defence seminar in August with all proceeds being donated to Different Strokes. Richard said:

‘The seminar on Sunday 6th August attracted 24 members from 2 local self-defence and martial arts clubs. Ellis Guilford school in Basford Nottingham kindly provided the venue. Both clubs got a lot out of the 3 hour training session which was not only great fun but extremely practical especially in this current climate. Both Instructors Richard Lane (Studio Combat Academy & Martial Arts Centre, Long Eaton) & Ian Harrison (Dragon Freestyle, Nottingham) taught a variety of self-defence techniques and gave valuable self awareness advice to students’
